Review: The Seduction of the Crimson Rose

March 18, 2011

The Seduction of the Crimson Rose (Pink Carnation, #4)The Seduction of the Crimson Rose by Lauren Willig
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another wonderful addition to the Pink Carnation series. Now following Lord Vaughn and Mary Alsworthy, we are given more insight and are told who the illusive Black Tulip is. I applaud Willig for another contribution to the series but also making the Tulip expected but not. There are plot elements that are used to great effect and even though all readers know the eventual outcome of the story, Willig does a wonderful job of keeping it entertaining and the reader never quite sure what will happen next to lead to the expected conclusion. A series I intend to keep reading as long as she keeps writing.
