Timeless
Timeless by Gail Carriger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A fantastic ending for the Parasol Protectorate series. Alexia Tarabotti Maccon goes to Egypt after being summoned by the head of the Alexandria hive and hijinks ensues. A quick read but absolutely fantastic. There were several twists and turns that I did not expect and the revelation of some of the things Alessandro Tarabotti had done and who he has worked for in his years on Earth were unexpected but still good. My favorite part of the book had to be Biffy. He began the series as a favorite drone of Lord Akeldama’s but ends it in love with Professor Lyall (their love scenes and teasing was just amazing) and with the ability to assume Anubis form and eventually become an Alpha. Lord Maccon was still cute sweet and very loving towards his wife and daughter. Prudence was amazing- just as stubborn as both of her parents but so loving and pragmatic at the same time. She was great to behold and every time she changed into a vampire or werewolf was just bloody brilliant. I cannot wait for the next novel from Carriger.
